This reinforcement system is designed for Piaggio and Gilera 125-180cc 2-stroke engine blocks and helps prevent the known weaknesses of the original crankcase.

Piaggio 125 and 180 engine blocks, especially with powerful engine setups, can suffer from cracking or even complete crankcase rupture. The PM Tuning Brace provides additional reinforcement between the exhaust mounting and the secondary transmission shaft, creating a strong triangle construction that better distributes the forces over the engine block.

In addition to the extra strength, the brace also provides a solid mounting point for PM59 and PM55 X-Tech Pro exhausts.
