Cylinder Stage6 R/T 95CC LC Big Bore Piaggio 2 Stroke LC

The Stage6 R/T Big Bore 95cc Cylinder Kit is a high-end racing cylinder developed by the Stage6 R/T (Racing / Team) department for Piaggio water-cooled 2-stroke engines. This cylinder is based on the well-known Stage6 R/T 70cc cylinder, but has been completely redesigned with a larger bore and modified scavenge and exhaust ports. As a result, this Big Bore version delivers significantly more power and is one of the most powerful racing cylinders for Piaggio LC engines.

With a bore of 52 mm and a longer stroke, this cylinder delivers a strong combination of power and torque. In a well-tuned racing setup a power of approx 24 to 26 hp realistic. Thanks to the relatively low port timing from the factory, this cylinder also forms an excellent basis for further tuning and porting.

The modular Stage6 R/T design has also been used on this cylinder. The adapter plate mounts directly to the engine crankcase and the cylinder is secured via external studs. This eliminates the need for continuous cylinder bolts, which gives more freedom for the design of the flush ports and exhaust port. The seal between cylinder and adapter plate is done via a Viton® O-ring, so gaskets do not have to be replaced every time.

The combustion chamber has a spherical shape and is secured with five bolts. Special cooling chambers around the mounting points ensure a stable temperature and reduce the risk of seizing. The Vertex coated piston shortens the running-in time and offers good emergency running properties for minor adjustment problems.
